The shelter is in need of:

- Dog food
- Medications and bandages
- Blankets and sheets
- Fax machine
- Video equipment for educational projects
- Books and video tapes for the education room
- Any item you may think can be useful for the shelter or RSPA
- Dog kennels and cat cages

RSPA has three major groups of volunteers:

- RSPA members who engage in management, fundraising, education etc.

- Youth engaging in a “personal commitment” project as part of their 10th grade curriculum; they help to maintain and clean the shelter and take part in special projects, such as caring for abused animals.

- Youth and adults who come on their own initiative; they help out at the shelter and during our adoption and fundraising events.

We need volunteers:

- To answer the phone at the shelter, some 5 hours daily (possibility of a paid position in the future)
- To help out at the clinic
- To help clean the kennels and take the dogs out for a walk
- To run our educational activities (click here for details)
