Osher grew up in a home, but though his name means “happiness” in Hebrew, it wasn’t a happy home for him, as his owners refused to continue taking care of the dog. He’s a good-natured dog who is good with kids and can live in an apartment. He also gets along with cats. While you can’t see this in the picture, he has a characteristic Ridgeback-like ridge on his back.
