Kuzina, spayed female
Age: 1 year
Kuzina became the heroine of a detective story, but not by choice. The
family in which she had grown up had decided to abandon her: the girl
who had been taking care of her was drafted into the army, and the parents
didn’t want to continue keeping the dog. They brought Kuzina to
the shelter, but rather than handing her over in a proper fashion, which
involves payment, they tied her at night to the shelter gate. Revealing
a minor trace of responsibility toward the dog, they attached to her collar
her vaccinations passport. They’d crossed out their names from the
passport so that we couldn’t find them, but through some detective
work, the shelter workers were able to identify their names from the attached
paperwork. Kuzina’s owners were then obliged to come to the shelter
and pay the required fee. Kuzina is a gentle and good-natured dog. Because
she grew up in a home, she’s fully toilet-trained, and she is now
looking for a new, warm home.
