| Found a home, May 2008 Toto, neutered male Age: about 1 year Schnauzer mix Toto (some people in the shelter call him Hugo) was found as a puppy in the middle of a highway. A kind young man picked up the puppy, who was about to be run over, and brought him to the shelter, thin and weak. Toto has since recovered from his trauma, mentally and physically. He has orange eyes, and is a happy and friendly medium-size dog who loves to be spoiled and to take long walks. He is one of the smartest dogs in the shelter and has undergone basic training within the framework of our volunteer dog training program. He is great with kids and can live indoors or outdoors. He barks at strangers but doesn’t bite. Toto would love a female canine companion but he doesn’t get along with other male dogs. |
