| Found a home, August 2008 Galgo, male Born in 2005 German shepherd mix Galgo was found abandoned at the Weizmann Institute in May 2006. He keeps his cage very clean, which means that he grew up in a house and was abandoned by his owners on the Institute campus. He doesn’t destroy blankets or cause other damage. Galgo has been in the shelter for a very long time, so that he is used to the shelter routine and not much else. He is very independent and loves to play but will come and play with you only when he feels like it. He is a very good-natured dog, gentle and loving, who needs attention, lots of love and patience. It takes him a while to become attached to new people and start communicating with them. He is great with kids and female dogs. |
