Chelsie spent at least two weeks running around abandoned in the street, until one of our volunteers picked her up. She has a peculiar habit: when given food, she doesn’t start eating immediately, but tends to sit quietly and thoughtfully for a while. She should therefore live in a house without other dogs, as less philosophically inclined canines will eat all her food while Chelsie is “meditating.” i
