| Sittin, spayed female Age: about 1 year Since our animal society (unfortunately) doesn’t have a cattery, all our cats – the ones on this website and dozens of others – stay with foster families until we find them a new home. The only exception is Sittin. We don’t know where she came from and how she got to our dog shelter, but one day she just showed up there and stayed on. She continues to live in the shelter, the only cat amidst more than a hundred dogs. Sounds scary? Indeed, but only for the dogs, not for Sittin. She is not at all afraid of dogs and doesn’t hesitate to hit them if something bothers her. She’s friendly and cuddly with people, but she’s not suitable for a family with small kids because her patience has its limits, and when she is fed up with being petted, she can announce her annoyance in a most unpleasant manner. |
