When Ash was on his way to the shelter, he probably thought it was a journey directly to hell: he was brought to us in a most awful manner, inside the trunk of a car. One of our volunteers, shocked to see a man get a dog out of the car trunk, called one of the shelter workers, who tried to talk to the man, but when she asked him to come with her to the office, he shoved the dog back into the trunk. At this point, the worker told the man to leave the dog with us. He claimed he had found him in Ashdod, hence the name Ash. Despite the gruesome experience on his way to Rehovot, Ash is a very friendly dog who loves to play and shows no signs of trauma. He is great with kids..
